I have also worked as a staff writer at The New York Observer and the Miami New Times, where I was a finalist for a Livingston Award and received an honorable mention for the White House Correspondents’ Association Edgar A. Poe award. My writing has been included in Best American Travel Writing and Say What You Mean: The n+1 Anthology.
