San Francisco, CA – Leslie’s collage and mixed media works depict multiple scales of time and space in the landscape, connecting material, geological and meteorological processes to history, the human body, and landscape painting itself.  She has had solo shows with Jack Hanley Gallery in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. Her work is currently on exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s 75th Anniversary Show, and has also been shown at the Orange County Museum of Art, the Oakland Art Museum, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Shows has been the recipient of an SFMOMA SECA award, a Eureka Fellowship, an Artadia Award, and the Tournesol Award from the Headlands Center for the Arts, and has published two books of her work, Heap of Elements, through Headlands Center for the Arts, and Black Icebergs, from Hassla.
