RACHEL ELIZA GRIFFITHS

Brooklyn, NY  – Rachel is a poet and a photographer. A Cave Canem Fellow, she received the MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and the MA in English Literature from the University of Delaware. Griffiths is the recipient of numerous fellowships including Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, Vermont Studio Center, Cave Canem Foundation, New York State Summer Writers Institute, and others. Recently, she was featured in O Magazine in their first ever poetry issue. Her literary work has appeared in Callaloo, Indiana Review, Muzzle Magazine, Poetry Foundation, Crab Orchard Review, North American Review, and many others. Her visual work has been exhibited nationally and has appeared in Mosaic, RATTLE, Writer’s Chronicle, Tidal Basin Review, Poetry Society of America (online special feature), and elsewhere. Currently, Griffiths teaches creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College.
