Bronx, NY – “For me, drawing is a strategy with which to mediate between (and moderate) various disparate forces at work in my life and art. Simultaneously, it is a simulator, a testing ground for an Unknown proposition. Two primary series, Q and FT, feed in and feed off one another and are supplemented by a series of peripheral documents- notebooks and informal tests-, which are meant to refine, prove and/or discredit the system(s) at work.

“My primary medium is drawing. I was born in southern New Jersey and grew up in New Jersey and Florida. I received my MFA from Montclair State University in 2006 and my BFA from the Ringling College of Art in Sarasota, FL in 2003. While at Ringling, in the summer 2002, I attended the Yale Summer School of Art & Music in Norfolk, CT. I live and work in Bronx, NY.\”
