Milmont, PA – Thomas holds a degree from Temple University\’s Esther Boyer College of Music where he studied with Peter Segal.  As a founding member of the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Trio he has recorded two CDs of Latin American music and toured the Mid-Atlantic states as a roster artist for the Pennsylvania Performing Arts On Tour program. Abroad, the Philly Guitar Trio was the featured ensemble for the 1998 Festival  Internacional de Guitarra de Puerto Rico and for the Third Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Panamá 1999. In the Philadelphia area the Trio appeared on television and performed at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts Opening Celebration. Through the Appel Farm Center for the Arts, Thomas conceived and presented a residency series of assemblies aimed at introducing Southern New Jersey public school students to the classical guitar.   His arrangements of William Grant Still’s Here’s One and Danzas de Panamá have been published by the Theodore Presser Company and William Grant Still Music, respectively.
