Darren Floyd

Brooklyn, NY – Darren is an motion picture artist who works with 16mm film, video, and zines.  His films and videos have used portraiture, letter writing, collaboration, and improvisation as structural elements in experimental narrative films. He is currently working on a film project of supernatural self-portraits that combine landscape cinematography and direct-address narration to trace a narrative and emotional arc.  Darren has been invited to Cornell University as an Artist-In-Residence beginning in the fall of 2009, where he will be working on a public art motion portraiture project.

Nora Maynard

New York, NY—Nora is a novelist, short story writer, essayist, photographer, and food-and-drinks columnist and instructor. She was born in London, Ontario, Canada, and received a B.A. from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. After graduation, she worked in publishing in Toronto and New York as an editor and literary publicist. Her short stories, essays, and photo-essays have appeared or are forthcoming in Killing the Buddha, The Rambler, Apartment Therapy, CHOW, and other publications. Sabeen Raja

Melissa Sandor

Brooklyn, NY — Melissa Sandor was born in Buffalo, New York. She received her BA from SUNY at Buffalo and has completed graduate studies at Pratt Institute and Queens College, CUNY. In addition to being a fiction writer, she was worked for the past 16 years as a writer for artists and non-profit arts organizations including BOMB Magazine, Meredith Monk, New York City Ballet, New York Stage & Film, Queens Council on the Arts and many others. Thomas Smith

Milmont, PA – Thomas holds a degree from Temple University\’s Esther Boyer College of Music where he studied with Peter Segal.  As a founding member of the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Trio he has recorded two CDs of Latin American music and toured the Mid-Atlantic states as a roster artist for the Pennsylvania Performing Arts On Tour program. Abroad, the Philly Guitar Trio was the featured ensemble for the 1998 Festival  Internacional de Guitarra de Puerto Rico and for the Third Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Panamá 1999.
